When you’re in an accident and the other person that hits you does not have insurance there’s a few things that you can do. First thing you can do is you need to contact your own insurance company as soon as possible because they will actually help you in this situation and determine if there’s any other people that may have insurance. The other thing you need to do also as soon as possible is to contact myself or an attorney here at Bailey Javins & Carter as soon as possible because the person that hit you may not have their own insurance but they may be covered under a family member’s policy, a Mom, Dad, Brother or Sister or whoever they may live with in the household so there’s there’s definitely potential for other insurance to be available and applicable to your client.
