I was injured on a construction work site, what is the first thing I need to do?
Transcript
Certainly document everything that happened. If there are ways to get photographs of the scene please do that. I beg clients to keep a journal. Because, believe it or not you won’t remember something as well, you think because that injury is so horrible that you’ll never forget everything about it. Trust me. You will forget certain things that you, and your attorney especially, may at a later time wish you had remembered and the best way to do that is to keep notes. So, I would caution any person that suffered an injury on a construction site, names of witnesses, contact numbers, photographs, a diary or a journal. And, then once you’re sort of to the point where you can comfortably meet with an attorney, whether you would like us to come to your home, certainly we’ll come to you in a hospital if you’d like or come to our office. We’ll do whatever it takes. Whatever you’re most comfortable with. But, as quickly as you can reach out to Bailey Javins & Carter we’d like to take over and investigate the claim and prosecute it for you.
